ALABI TO EMBARK ON CONSTRUCTION OF ONE KILOMETER OLORUNKEMI ROAD, ALSO APPROVES ALFA SANNI, WHILE FALADE , MOROHUNFOLU STREET ARE SET TO BE COMPLETED



In a bid for a greater and developed Bariga, what seems like concerted efforts in building and rehabilitating key infrastructure that can facilitate economic development, the administration of Hon Alabi Kolade David has approved to take up the construction of one kilometer Olorunkemi road , also to swiftly complete Falade street and Morohunfolu road, while Alfa Sanni is on the pipeline. 

According to the council boss while inspecting the Olorunfunmi/Olorunesan road,  said  Olorunkemi Road was chosen because it cuts across two political wards (A and C) and it has now become a menace to motorist, The construction of the road  will commence immediately, while the plan to to construct Alfa Sanni later is to solve the gridlocks associated with Famous junction, which has now become a daily routine, and will also serve as option to the ongoing Olorunfunmi and Olorunesan such that residents can link Ijagbemi, Johnson and Pedro Road via any of these roads without passing through Famous junction. 

Moreso, the administration will also reconstruct igbehinadun street down to Oguntona junction to make it motorable, and that all the roads will be done in phases.  

Recall that Ajidagan has been earmarked for construction already, so gridlocks in that axis will be a thing of the past. 

Meanwhile, the ongoing Falade and Morohunfolu streets will swiftly be completed to augment the ongoing St Finbars and Okuta Road under construction by the Lagos state government. 

He saluted the residents of Morohunfolu and Falade for their understanding and patience for the delays that mared the construction exercise assuring them it will be ready in little or no time.

Suspected Kidnapper Disguised as Lunatic Arrested in Epe.

Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Epe Command, have arrested a suspected kidnapper who had been disguising as a mentally ill person to evade detection. The suspect, identified as Mr. Godwin, a native of Ughelli Local Government Area in Delta State, had been under close surveillance for over a month following intelligence reports and concerns raised by residents. Community members reported that Mr. Godwin often made suspicious late-night phone calls and changed clothes discreetly each morning. He frequently took shelter in an abandoned security building along Lagos Road, near the T-junction. On May 5, during a routine patrol, officers were informed by residents that the suspect was temporarily absent from the area. Acting swiftly, the patrol team searched the structure and discovered 27 registered SIM cards concealed within a section of a block wall.
