EREDO LCDA CHAIRMAN, HON ISMAIL MONSURU AKINLOYE VISITS JULIUS BERGER PROCESSING COMPANY, ODO MOLA, EREDO

 Today, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye  visited Julius Berger Cashew Nut Processing Company at Odo-Mola, Eredo. 


The main purpose of the visit revolved around the need for a familiarization between the local government and the company.


During the course of the meeting, the general manager, Mr Tarciso Falcao, stated the need for more work force in which 80% of the workers needed will be women. He assured the Chairman that upon their employment majority to be considered will be indigents of Eredo.


Furthermore,  the general manager also made points on some of the social responsibility of the company which shall be deep rooted in;


*Youths empowerment and employment.

* Road construction within the axis and other infrastructural development.



In solidarity, they pledged their allegiance of cooperating with the local government.


Sequel to the laudable convictions made, the Chairman appreciated the company effort towards the employment, infrastructural and social responsibility that they had promised and further charged them to comply with the local government revenue team.



The council Mayor also assured them of maximum security within the company environs in order to ensure safety for all. The visitation was regarded fruitful as resolutions and agreements were met.

Suspected Kidnapper Disguised as Lunatic Arrested in Epe.

Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Epe Command, have arrested a suspected kidnapper who had been disguising as a mentally ill person to evade detection. The suspect, identified as Mr. Godwin, a native of Ughelli Local Government Area in Delta State, had been under close surveillance for over a month following intelligence reports and concerns raised by residents. Community members reported that Mr. Godwin often made suspicious late-night phone calls and changed clothes discreetly each morning. He frequently took shelter in an abandoned security building along Lagos Road, near the T-junction. On May 5, during a routine patrol, officers were informed by residents that the suspect was temporarily absent from the area. Acting swiftly, the patrol team searched the structure and discovered 27 registered SIM cards concealed within a section of a block wall.
