Hon Jelili sets to commission some important road network

In a bid to rid Alimosho Local Government of environmental pollution, especially flooding, that is presently ravaging some parts of our Nation, Hon Jelili Sulaimon, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local has engaged in the reconstruction of two very important roads with their required drainages.  The two roads are Miccom and Adebanjo streets, are both within the Akowonjo axis of the local government.

The roads, which were constructed using inter-locking materials due to the nature of the soil around the area and based on expertise recommendation, recieved all required attention from commencement to completion, despite it's huge cost which doubles the amount required to construct a regular coal tar roads.

The 2 roads are also among the most important roads in the local government owing to their ability to serve as an alternate route for both Idimu and Akowonjo roads.

Recall that the two roads used to be highly flooded when it rains due to poor channeling of their drainages. This consequently destroyed the coal tar used for it's initial construction.

Adebanjo street specifically is most affected by it's drainage which doesn't have a proper link with the water container connected to Ajisebiara-Mecca street. Therefore, the moving water do not have a proper link, consequently leading to a serious flooding.

With this reconstruction, aside the fact that flooding is totally eradicated, inter-locking blocks, as used, will absolutely prevent future depletion of the road by water if at all the road gets wet just after it rains.
