OFFICE OF REP. WALE RAJI INSPECTS NEW ILARA VOCATIONAL CENTRE AND OTHER ONGOING PROJECTS ACROSS EPE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY








Officials from the office of Rep. Wale Raji led by the Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Wale Raji on Projects and Special Duties, Otunba Wale Olusesi and Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Wale Raji on Research and Youth Affairs, Osifeko Mark Olaniyi yesterday took a tour of ongoing projects currently at different stages of completion across various parts of Epe Federal Constituency. The projects were facilitated by Rep. Wale Raji through the office of the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.


The projects are:


- The ongoing construction of a new Vocational centre in Ilara (Lintel stage)


- Ongoing 1st phase construction of Ayetoro modern market (plastering stage)


- Ongoing construction of Agbowa Recreational centre with Basket ball court, Lawn Tennis court

Parkings lot, Snooker room, Table Tennis room, General office, Conference room, Manager's office and

Conveniences. (Roofing stage)


- Ongoing upgrade of Mojoda market (Roofing stage)


- Ongoing construction Dauda Buhari St, Epe (To link up Oloja Estate to Ayotunde Seriki street back to the Expressway) (Solidified)


- Ongoing construction of Aye Road in Imokun,(Stone base)


- Ongoing construction of a block of 3 classrooms at Imokun Primary School (Roofing stage)


- Ongoing 2nd phase construction of lock up shops at Itoikin market (Plastering)


- Ongoing rehabilitation of Shiwola Road, Odosiwola which will connect road users from Ibonwon, Igbooye, Ilara and environs back to the Epe - Ijebuode road through Odosiwola (Ready for asphalt)


- Ongoing construction of LASU link roads which (Aina Abidakun Street / Wale Adenusi Str/ Prince Kunle Yusuf / Ladi Akintola St / Dr Onibon Str), (Solified)

Epe, Lagos – May 2025 – Officers of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Eredo Command, have arrested three students and one adult in connection with a case of theft and aiding and abetting at the Government Technical College, Odomola, Epe. Suspected Kidnapper Disguised as Lunatic Arrested in Epe.

Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Epe Command, have arrested a suspected kidnapper who had been disguising as a mentally ill person to evade detection. The suspect, identified as Mr. Godwin, a native of Ughelli Local Government Area in Delta State, had been under close surveillance for over a month following intelligence reports and concerns raised by residents. Community members reported that Mr. Godwin often made suspicious late-night phone calls and changed clothes discreetly each morning. He frequently took shelter in an abandoned security building along Lagos Road, near the T-junction. On May 5, during a routine patrol, officers were informed by residents that the suspect was temporarily absent from the area. Acting swiftly, the patrol team searched the structure and discovered 27 registered SIM cards concealed within a section of a block wall.
