REP. WALE RAJI SPONSORS EREDO COMMUNITY YOUTH LEADERS' "BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT"

 ........ Presents school bags and stationery to 250 indigent students


Rep. Wale Raji representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman, House Services Committee today presented school bags and stationery to 250 indigents school students from different communities in Eredo Local Council Development Area under the "Back to School Project" initiated by the Conference of Community Youth Leaders in Eredo (CCYL).


Speaking on behalf of the Community Youth Leaders, the Chairman of the group, Com. Ismail Wahab appreciated Rep. Wale Raji for buying into the initiative which he said is meant to provide succour to selected indigent students in all communities in Eredo LCDA. 



He said, the group comprises youth leaders from all communities in Eredo LCDA irrespective of their social, political and religious leaning and are out to enshrine peace, oneness and development in Eredo LCDA. He thanked Rep. Wale Raji for sponsoring the project and embarking on so many other impactful developmental projects spread across Eredo LCDA and other parts of Epe Federal Constituency.



Speaking at the presentation, Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Wale Raji on Research and Youth Affairs, Osifeko Mark Olaniyi appreciated the group for coming up with the initiative. He urged them to ensure that indigent students who are the main target of the initiative are prioritized in the allocation of the materials. He said equity, fairness and accountability must be the watchword of the group at all times to guarantee peace and unity.



He said Rep. Wale Raji has overtime shown his commitment to the delivery of quality education at the grassroot which saw him recently deliver 13 educational intervention projects ranging from blocks of classroom, ICT centre, Hostel, Teacher's quarters, etc in different parts of Epe Federal Constituency.  He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the materials, be good ambassadors of their respective communities and put in their best in their academics.


Some recipients who spoke on behalf of their peers thanked Rep. Wale Raji and the Conference of Community Youth Leaders for coming up with the initiative and promised to put the materials to good use to justify the project.
