The Abia State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the forthcoming general election, Prof. Eleazar Uchenna Ikonne is dead.

Prof. Ikonne who was the former Vice-Chancellor of the Abia State University has been absent since last few weeks.
