AKINLOYE WARNS AGAINST THE DISSEMINATION OF FALSE RESULTS

When the constituted authority has not yet officially announced the results, Hon. Ismail Monsuru, Executive Chairman of the Eredo LCDA, has issued a warning against disseminating phony election results on social media.


The council leader issued a warning against false information being spread on social media during an early-morning press conference in his office on Sunday, February 26, 2023, after visiting certain collation centers in Eredo LCDA.


The council boss urged residents of the Eredo LCDA to maintain their composure and wait for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to officially announce the results.


He expressed gratitude to the residents of Eredo for their good behavior and cooperation with the security forces throughout the poll.


But, he issued a warning that anyone found disseminating false information capable of sparking a crisis will be subject to the full force of the law.

Breaking: JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday.
