WHY TINUBU SHOULD PILOT NIGERIA— ENGR. ODEYEMI





Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, has received praise from Engr. Odeyemi Tope, Supervisor for Works Eredo LCDA, Lagos States, for consistently hiring qualified Nigerians to jobs without discrimination. 


This is one of the characteristics, according to Engr. Odeyemi, who spoke with the Epe Update, that make Tinubu the most suitable candidate to lead Nigeria.


He said that Raji Fashola, Ben Akabueze, Joe Igbokwe, and Yemi Osibanjo were among the individuals appointed by former Lagos governor Tinubu, and that they all excelled in their service to the state of Lagos and the country. 


Engr. Odeyemi said Tinubu is always proactive in his decisions and policies, according to the Emeritus Engineer, he also said Tinubu who possesses leadership characteristics and the capacity to turn obstacles into opportunities.


“For instance, when President Obasanjo refused to give Lagos State its share of the local government budget, he multiplied internally generated money by many times. 


"This strengthened institutions and guaranteed the sanctity of agreements which enhanced ease of doing business and reduced transactional costs allowing businesses to thrive in Lagos," said Engr. Odeyemi. 


He expressed his fervent hope that, should he be elected president, what Tinubu accomplished as the state governor of Lagos would be repeated.


Tinubu exhibits innovation. With good database administration of vast and deep data, he welcomed innovation to eliminate ghost employees and ghost roles. He established respect for the rule of law and good governance as well.

Breaking: JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday.
