President-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinibu, says that the struggles and triumphs that people face throughout their lives serve as the foundation for a country's progress, but only a select few leaders have shown inspired courage and made supreme sacrifices. These leaders put in a lot of effort and sacrifice to improve the situation in their country out of compassion for their people.

 

Additionally, they are motivated by a strong interest in putting transformative ideas into action and a personal, insatiable desire for shared prosperity.


Through the efforts and vision of such leaders, the people take the initiative to turn tiny concepts into enormous undertakings and bring lovely dreams within the solid confines of reality, all the while forging an unbreakable bond with peace, prosperity, and development. Here is the narrative of our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


Sir, today is your 71st birthday, I, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, the executive chairman of Eredo LCDA, my household, and the entire good people of Eredo LCDA, wish you a very happy birthday and many more long years of good health, happiness, and above all, God’s mercies. Sir, we know that your best years are still ahead of you and cannot wait for them to unravel.


You have long stood for square pegs in square holes when it comes to making leadership choices, and you have ignored the cliché political disadvantages suffered by many of your proteges and instead elevated them with your mentorship.


You have produced capable leaders in the North, West, South and East of this country and you have done so by leading by example from the front, because of this, many people think of you as a boss, but those of us who know you well can testify that you are a leader who builds up your followers and then turns  to follow their example. 


Today, all over this country, you are proud of your shelters, even as we face this major challenge. This is the best birthday present we can give  you sir. 


To show you in this moment of uncertainty and difficulty that we can lead well because we have learned well. Again, happy birthday sir and I wish you all the best as you pilot the affairs of our dear country Nigeria.

Breaking: JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday.
