DU'A (PRAYER) IN ANTICIPATION OF RAMADAN
We have to fully prepare ourselves for this blessed month in order to receive the utmost amount of blessings and rewards from Allah SWT.
Whoever fasts during Ramadan out of faith and anticipation (of the reward from Allah), his previous sins will be forgiven. And whoever prays in the night of the decree (laylat al-qadr) out of faith and anticipation (of the reward from Allah) his previous sins will be forgiven. [Abu Dawood 1372].
Ramadan is only a few days away. I am so excited about it. We have to fully prepare ourselves for this blessed month in order to receive the utmost amount of blessings and rewards from Allah SWT.
On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), used to say the following when the month of Rajab began.
Meaning: “Oh Allah! Bless us in Rajab and Sha`ban, and bring us, oh Allah, to Ramadan.”[Narrated by Tabarani and Ahmad].
