We will deliver victory for APC gubernatorial candidate, Epe youths vows

Lagos State, March 14, 2023(NAN) Some youth in Lagos State have vowed support for the victory of All Progressive Congress(APC) candidate, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu second term bid in the forthcoming gubernatorial and House of assemblies general elections.


The youth make the pledges during an separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) in Lagos, on Tuesday.


Epe resident, Mr Mark Osifeko, affirmed his undying support for Gov. Sanwo-Olu second-term bid.


"I am committed to this struggle, I will do all my best possible to rally support for Gov. Sanwo-Olu victory in my area in Epe Division of Lagos state.


"I have engaged with my fellow team on a door-to-door campaign for All Progressive Congress(APC) gubernatorial and House of assemblies candidates, " he said.


According to him, victory is assured for all progressive candidates in Epe Division because we have done our major assignment and underground work.


Mr Titilayo Adebanjo, another resident in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, said that Gov. Sanwo-Olu has performed beyond expectations which would earn him a second term victory.


He said that Sanwo-Olu sterling performance across the Lagos metropolitan cannot be over-emphasized.


"We have his administration records of achievements in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State and beyond.


"Therefore, we are ready to cast our votes for his victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial and House of assemblies general elections in Ikorodu area of Lagos State, " he said.


Another Epe resident, Mrs Olushola Alade-Raji, applauded this present administration led by Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for consolidating on the achievement of his predecessors.


According to her, Sanwo-Olu did not abandoned any of his predecessor's ongoing projects, rather he completed those projects.


"This is what we call continuity of government, the new administration should start from where his predecessors finished, that is the best way to consolidate on your predecessors achievement.


"Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship and a true democrat, therefore, we will throw our weight behind him to ensure his second term victory, " she said.


Mrs Iyalabake Omole, Epe resident, commends this present administration's brilliant achievements within the last few years. 


"I am particularly impressed with their administration teamwork and I think they deserve a second term, " she said.


Omole also applauded the synergy between the Lagos lawmakers and the state executive for their teamwork and mutual understanding in ensuring the smooth running of the state affairs.


"This is a synergy that works, so therefore, all APC house of assembly candidates and governorship candidate should be given another term opportunity in office, " she said.


Another Epe resident, Mr Gbolahan Rasaki, said that the best thing that can happen to Lagos State was for Gov. Sanwo-Olu to emerge as the Lagos State Governor for the second term.


Rasaki mentioned some of this present administration's achievements led by Gov. Sanwo-Olu as; Construction and expansion of over 100 roads across the state.


Others as; improvement in the health care sector, advancement in the education sector, increase in workers' salaries, amendments in workers' welfare packages, agricultural schemes, youth empowerment, and several intervention programs to mention but few.


He, therefore, called on the youths of Lagos state to vote for continuity, and re-elect this present government for citizens to keep enjoyment the dividend of democracy. (NAN). (www.nannews.ng).

Suspected Kidnapper Disguised as Lunatic Arrested in Epe.

Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Epe Command, have arrested a suspected kidnapper who had been disguising as a mentally ill person to evade detection. The suspect, identified as Mr. Godwin, a native of Ughelli Local Government Area in Delta State, had been under close surveillance for over a month following intelligence reports and concerns raised by residents. Community members reported that Mr. Godwin often made suspicious late-night phone calls and changed clothes discreetly each morning. He frequently took shelter in an abandoned security building along Lagos Road, near the T-junction. On May 5, during a routine patrol, officers were informed by residents that the suspect was temporarily absent from the area.
