HEALTH: EREDO LCDA BOSS 'AKINLOYE' RECEIVES ACCLAMATIONS FROM LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY






The House Committee on Health visited Eredo LCDA and the Primary Healthcare Centers as part of the Lagos State House of Assembly's oversight role, accompanied by the Council's chairman, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye.



The council chairman, who welcomed the House Committee on Health led by Hon. Femi Saheed, organized a tour of all the local primary health care facilities, including Eredo PHC, Mojoda PHC, Poka PHC, Odomola PHC, and Iraye PHC (facilitated by Rep. Wale Raji), amongst others.


The Chairman reaffirmed his unfeigned commitment to always see to it that the local government meets the needs of all PHCs as necessary.


Additionally, he gave the group a briefing on his development strategy for revitalizing the majority of the outdated PHCs and guaranteed them a sufficient process to start with.


Hon. Femi Saheed (Honorable Member, LAHA, Kosofe Constituency II) was delighted to have met an encouraging state of all the visited PHCs earlier today, particularly on environmental hygiene, while praising the Council Chairman's enormous efforts in the health care and other sectors.



He also praised the invaluable contributions made by each member of the staff and demanded that they continue to do their tasks diligently on a daily basis in accordance with the needs of the patients.

Hon. Noheem Adams appreciates the efforts made by the Eredo council chief in the area of health, including the upkeep and rehabilitation of current PHCs.



The council chairman also vowed to keep working hard and has promised, with God's special grace, to build high-quality health clinics in each of the LCDA's wards.

Breaking: JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday.
