PHOTOS: Fire Razes Part Of Ooni's Palace



A building located within the premises of Ile Oodua Palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has been razed down by fire, destroying valuables.



According to a source around Enuwa, in the Ile-Ife area of Osun State, where the palace is located, the incident happened around 11:30 pm on Friday.


A statement by the monarch's spokesperson, Moses Olafare, obtained in Osogbo on Saturday, said there was no casualty or loss of cultural item or injury recorded in the inferno, blaming the incident on power surge.

Breaking: JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday.
