AS THE NEW YEAR HIJIRA BEGINS, AKINLOYE FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM FAITHFULS



The Executive Chiarman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, urged the Muslims to praise Allah now and every day for all the mercies he has shown upon us and also for becoming Allah’s favorite creations in this life and in the afterlife.

He advised that we must remember that the real essence of New Hijrah today is to turn away from evil, which is forbidden by Allah and His Messenger.

Also in his goodwill message, Akinloye said that the network of Paradise for the Muslim is Islam, Sim is faith, the bonus is Ramadan, the reserve is prayer, and the helpline is the Quran, and we should abide by it.

He prayed that the beginning of the Islamic New Year bring more opportunities for prosperity and progress to Eredo LCDA, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large. Amen

Suspected Kidnapper Disguised as Lunatic Arrested in Epe.

Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Epe Command, have arrested a suspected kidnapper who had been disguising as a mentally ill person to evade detection. The suspect, identified as Mr. Godwin, a native of Ughelli Local Government Area in Delta State, had been under close surveillance for over a month following intelligence reports and concerns raised by residents. Community members reported that Mr. Godwin often made suspicious late-night phone calls and changed clothes discreetly each morning. He frequently took shelter in an abandoned security building along Lagos Road, near the T-junction. On May 5, during a routine patrol, officers were informed by residents that the suspect was temporarily absent from the area. Acting swiftly, the patrol team searched the structure and discovered 27 registered SIM cards concealed within a section of a block wall.
