EREDO LCDA ENGAGES COMMUNITY IN FORWARD-THINKING STAKEHOLDERS MEETING FOR 2024 BUDGET




Yesterday, Wednesday, 15th, 2023, Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) took a significant stride towards inclusive governance as it hosted a stakeholders' consultative meeting for the upcoming 2024 budget. Representing the Executive Chairman, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, Vice Chairman Hon. Lateef Adesanya presided over the event, providing a platform for community input and collaboration.



During the meeting, Hon. Lateef Adesanya outlined the remarkable achievements of the LCDA under Hon. Akinloye's leadership. These accomplishments encompassed the renovation of two health centers, the construction of a modern legislative building, the employment of 60 non-pensionable teachers in public primary schools, the construction of a block of six classrooms at Ajegbende community, and the development of 163 Kee clamp shops and 24 lock-ups in Iraye-Oke. Additionally, initiatives like the yearly free JAMB for prospective candidates and the distribution of writing materials to public primary school pupils, empowering the local securities were highlighted.



The people of Eredo LCDA expressed their gratitude for the positive transformations witnessed in their community and welcomed these commendable achievements. Eager for more progress, they voiced their aspirations for further developmental projects.



In response, the chairman's assurance resonated with the community, promising that more transformative initiatives are on the horizon. The collaborative spirit demonstrated during the meeting reaffirms the LCDA's commitment to meeting the needs of its constituents and fostering a community-driven agenda.

Breaking: JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday.
