OGUNLENDE-RAK TAKES SANWO-OLU'S OUNJE EKO FOOD INTERVENTION TO RIVERINE COMMUNITIES IN BADAGRY




In a remarkable effort to reach every corner of Lagos State, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development has extended Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Ounje Eko food intervention program to the riverine communities in Badagry.



This intervention aims to provide relief as residents navigate the current economic challenges. The riverine communities, often isolated from the main town, frequently miss out on crucial interventions and opportunities. By bringing the Ounje Eko food program to these areas, the Lagos State Government reaffirms its commitment to social inclusion, ensuring that no one is left behind.



Hon. Ogunlende emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, _"By extending the Ounje Eko food program to these often-isolated areas, we are reaffirming our dedication to social inclusion and our promise to support all Lagosians, regardless of their location."



The move underscores the state government's dedication to providing succour and support to all residents, showcasing a proactive approach to addressing the unique needs of its diverse population.
