EREDO LCDA BOSS HOLDS PEACE AND SECURITY MEETING WITH CONCERNED SECURITY




……….Akinloye, community leaders and security operatives unite for enhanced safety measures


Today, July 8, 2024, a significant security meeting was convened at the Eredo LCDA Council Secretariat. The session, orchestrated by the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, saw the attendance of a broad spectrum of community and security stakeholders. Present were Traditional leaders, Religious leaders, all security operatives, and representatives of the NYCN, CCYL, CDC among others.



In his opening address, Chairman Akinloye emphasized the necessity for proactivity in the discharge of security duties. He lauded the security personnel for their recent successes and assured them of the continued, unwavering support from the LCDA administration.



Oba Babatunde Olaogun Ogunlaja (JP), the Aladeshoyin of Odo-Noforija Kingdom, expressed his gratitude to Chairman Akinloye for his exemplary leadership over the years. He encouraged the security officers to remain dedicated to safeguarding the LCDA, stressing the importance of steadfastness in their roles.


The security operatives jointly assured the chairman and other stakeholders of their strong synergy and commitment to maintaining peace and security within the LCDA. They also advised the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities, emphasizing that community cooperation is crucial for effective intelligence and easier execution of their duties.



Also in attendance were notable traditional leaders, including the Aladepekun of Odo-Egiri Kingdom, Oba Musiliu Abiola Oliwo; the Omola of Odo-Mola, Oba Sulaimon Adeshina Adebowale; the Alade Uraka of Poka, Oba Kolawole Ayodele Aliru; the Adegbaojo of Odo-Gbawojo, Oba Adelani Maruf Adeniyi; and a representative of the Alara of Ilara Kingdom.


The meeting concluded on a positive note, with all participants reaffirming their commitment to working together to ensure the safety and security of Eredo LCDA.

Breaking: JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

  The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME results. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the results at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters, Bwari, in Abuja on Monday.
