LASUBEB Meets with School Managers Ahead of School Resumption




The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) held a strategic meeting with school managers across the state in preparation for the resumption of the new academic session. The gathering, held at NUT Pavilion Agidingbi, Ikeja today focused on aligning school leaders with the state’s education transformation agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

 

The Executive Chairman LASUBEB, Dr. Hakeem Shittu  in his address, stressed the importance of strengthening school administration and maintaining high standards in public education. He reiterated the board's dedication to enhancing  quality teaching and learning in Lagos State, noting that the welfare of pupils and teachers remains paramount to the Board. 



“As we prepare for the resumption of the new term, it is crucial that school administrators are fully prepared for more engagement in this session . LASUBEB is committed to providing the necessary support to ensure that our schools are well-equipped to deliver quality education,” He said.


The Chairman further emphasized that the Board is determined to enhance digital literacy among pupils and also ensure equitable access to free education for all children in Lagos. He urged school managers to be proactive in implementing the state’s education policies and addressing issues such as pupils  enrolment, absenteeism and retention in public primary schools.
