EREDO LCDA CELEBRATES ANNUAL KIDDIES FUNFAIR

….also celebrating the widows and the elderly.

In order to participate in the celebration of Christmas and New Year's, hundreds of children and their parents and guardians filled the Eredo Local Council Development Area secretariat.

For an event that was scheduled to start at 10:00 am, the venue started welcoming the hundreds of august guests as early as 7:00 am.

The event was conducted on December 21st at the council premises and invited participation from party members, political leaders, APC Apex Women, executives, and the LCDA's legislative branch.

The explanation wasn't too improbable given that Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye's visionary administration had provided food, cash gifts, and gift baskets for the LCDA's adorable young people.

The event, which was well-attended by women and men from all walks of life in the LCDA, provided an opportunity for interaction, connection, and good times with the next generation of leaders through games, dance, music, food, drinks, gifts, and other forms of entertainment. It was a festive occasion that doubled as a reunion and featured a variety of entertaining activities. This is due to the fact that families, friends, loved ones, and well-wishers transformed the exciting occasion into a genuine platform for leisure and pleasure.

The Chairman of the LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, thanked parents and guardians for attending the event in his welcome speech.

He commended party supporters and LCDA staff members for their unwavering commitment to the celebration's success.

Therefore, he made an appeal to the good citizens of Eredo LCDA to continue supporting his administration's resolve to carry out the initiatives and programs designed to foster inclusive governance and, at the same time, the benefits of democracy.

The chairperson, Mrs. Ismail Christiana Oyinloluwa supported the chairman's assertions in her remarks by informing the audience that the administration believed the Annual Kiddies Funfair to be a worthwhile event that should continue.

Even as she expressed joy at sharing the annual funfair with the kids, she added that because governance is a continuum, it was important to keep the lovely program in place because education and enjoyment go hand in hand.

Additionally, she said that it has been demonstrated to be a genuine platform for identifying skills among kids from various educational backgrounds within the LCDA.

She did, however, guarantee that the necessary measures would be done to raise the kids' performance levels in their extracurricular activities.

She subsequently made a strong plea to parents to focus more on the moral, religious, and academic education of their children, which she saw as a catalyst for societal and racial development.

During the event, Mrs Adeshola from the LCDA won a grinding machine at the event's raffle draw, while 100 elderly and widowed people received cash prizes.
