Lagos Commissioner Highlights Coastal Challenges, Waste Management Reforms at Harvard Climate Panel

Speaking at the panel session on “Rising Seas, Resilient Communities: Climate Adaptation Strategies in West Africa” at Harvard Business School on Saturday, Wahab noted that Lagos’ geographical location on the continental shelf, coupled with a population of over 22 million, exposes it to sea level rise, flash flooding, and ecosystem destruction. On  Friday, 15th of August, 2025 , the spirit of kindness and communal love was on full display in Eredo LCDA as the  Epe Frontiers in Eredo , led by  Hon. Sabiu Adelaja , under the distinguished leadership of  Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, The Apase of Epe Land , extended a remarkable gesture of generosity to members of our community. Abuja Airport incident: Kwam 1 issues public apology, pleads for forgiveness

Following a controversial incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, a public figure identified as AMKW I has issued an unreserved apology, acknowledging personal misconduct and pleading for forgiveness from the authorities and the public. In a statement released on Wednesday, AMKW I admitted being “at the center” of the airport episode, describing it as “a moment of thoughtless indiscretion” that understandably provoked widespread public criticism. “Nothing can justify my indiscretion, which has justifiably drawn the anger of many,” he said. “I totally regret it.” Addressing the incident directly, AMKW I extended heartfelt apologies to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), affected officials, passengers, and the general public.
