How do we tackle the challenges youths face?  These and more are some of the questions that will be tackled on Saturday at a symposium to mark Lagos State Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi HAMZAT’S 60th birthday. It is all about deepening youth engagement and national development.  The theme of the symposium is “Nigeria: Guiding the Youth on the Path of Self-Reliance”. The symposium will take place at the prestigious Victoria Garden Event, Alausa, Ikeja. Establish Nursing School Next Year, FG Informs Epe Federal Medical Centre.

 The Federal Ministry of Health has instructed Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Epe, Lagos State to establish its own nursing school next year. The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Tunji Alausa disclosed this in a post he made on his personal X handle. He noted that the directive was given to the Center on Monday, while handing over the letter of appointment to Dr. Adeleke Adesola Kaka, who was appointed as the first acting Medical Director for the FMC Epe. He stated that the establishment of the school will help to improve educational and career opportunities for young Nigerians and address the brain drain crisis.
